After a thorough and far reaching executive search, The Falls Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is delighted to welcome our new Executive Director, Amanda Gazlay. Amanda began her role with the Chamber on January 2nd, 2019. Amanda comes to this Chamber with numerous years of non-profit experience. Amanda has held Director positions in associations in the legal and financial industry. Specifically relating to Chamber of Commerce’s, Amanda was the Executive Director at the San Gabriel Chamber of Commerce in California as well as Membership Director at the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce in upstate New York. She has spearheaded high-impact strategic planning for these organizations, and has impressive history of membership management and community involvement within these not-for-profit entities. Amanda is highly skilled in managing robust budgets, increasing revenues, and improving their efficacy.
Most recently Amanda was the Executive Director for the New Hampshire Association for Justice, a title she held for five years. In this role Amanda was accountable to a board of 25 and a membership of 400. During her tenure, Amanda streamlined policies, updated HR processes and implemented a new database for membership management.
Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Minor in Radio, TV & Film from Bowling Green State University in Ohio and a Master of Art in Management from the University of San Francisco. Continuing her education throughout her adult life has been important to her, and she has secured further certifications in Human Resource Management and Quickbooks.
The Falls Chamber of Commerce is poised to better grasp our geographical footprint with our continued rebranding efforts and outreach within the communities we serve—and beyond! Amanda is the team player, the leader, and the luminary to serve our Chamber members, better define our mission and increase the radius and influence of this Chamber.
