The Visiting Mexican Artists Program: The Dancing Chickens of Ventura Fabian
Friday, November 10, 10:30 am
The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire is excited to welcome Oaxacan wood carver Norberto Fabian, son of the late master carver Ventura Fabian! Norberto will share his artwork with museum guests, do a demonstration, and answer questions. This special guest visit celebrates Mexican folk art and culture, and Norberto’s beautiful finished carvings will be on display. Visitors can take inspiration from Norberto’s style and design their own wood ornament craft in the museum’s Muse Studio. This program will start at 10:30am (during the museum’s morning play session from 9am-Noon) in the STEAM Lab on Friday November 10, is included with museum admission, and as always free for Museum Members. This special visit is part of CMNH’s Performance Series, sponsored by The Fuller Foundation, TD Charitable Foundation, Abbie F. Moseley Charitable Trust, and the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts. Reserve your spots online at www.childrens-museum.org.
