ROCHESTER, NH (March 19, 2024) – HRCU, a leading credit union known for its commitment to exceptional member service and community involvement, is proud to announce its receipt of the prestigious “Best of the Best in Mortgage Experience” award from Member XP. This recognition comes alongside HRCU’s hard-earned achievement of earning the BankSafe Trained Seal from AARP for the fourth consecutive year, underscoring its ongoing efforts in fighting financial exploitation and enhancing fraud prevention among older consumers.
The “Best of the Best in Mortgage Experience” award by Member XP recognizes credit unions who provide exceptional service and support to its members throughout the home financing journey, from consultation to closing and every step in between. This award is based on hundreds of thousands of member surveys across the country at participating credit unions. Using data from these surveys, Member XP can identify the credit unions who are providing best-in-class service.
Simultaneously, the AARP BankSafe Trained Seal is a prestigious recognition for a bank or credit union’s proactive commitment to the financial safety of older consumers. HRCU’s team participated in extensive training, learning best practices in recognizing and preventing financial exploitation targeted to seniors. The AARP reports financial organizations with the BankSafe Trained Seal have protected over 150 million members and consumers and have saved them more than $200 million in fraud prevention.
“We are deeply honored to receive the ‘Best of the Best in Mortgage Experience’ award from Member XP and to be recognized once again with the AARP BankSafe Trained Seal,” said HRCU’s president and CEO, Brian Hughes. “These accolades reflect our unwavering commitment to providing our members with not only the best financial products and services but also the highest level of protection against fraud and exploitation. At HRCU, we believe in strong, lasting relationships with our members, and these achievements are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team.”
