As a Recovery Friendly Workplace, we'd like to share the following message from our friends at SOS Recovery Community Organization. 

"As the weather conditions get colder, more emergency services tend to open up to serve those experiencing homelessness and others who may be in need.  We do our best to stay as informed as possible and make this information available to everyone who may be able to use these services, or refer someone to them.  

We are now offering a notification service via email for these services in your area.  These notifications contain the time, location, and brief description of the following:

• Emergency Cold Weather Shelters
• Food banks
• Pop-up Free stores and Food Pantries
• Medical services
• Homeless Outreach
• Other various events that may benefit the community

Strafford County Warming Center opens tomorrow night, Wednesday December 16th at 5pm and closes for the day at 9am Thursday December 17th. 

Will Re open at 5pm Thursday December 17th until 9am December 18th.  Anyone can walk into 

30 Willard Rd Somersworth, NH 03878. 

Roughly 65-70 beds.  Covid safety protocols will be in place

Many of these resources are announced quickly and with short notice, so we would like to notify you as soon as possible when we here at SOS are notified.  This notification service will only be used for emergency services to help individuals that may be in need, we will not be sending newsletters, donation requests, or other correspondence via this channel.

Last winter many businesses found it valuable to have this information at the ready should they come across a situation or individual that can benefit from them.
